Oman will grant visa-free entry to Filipino tourists starting in 2026, according to the Oman Embassy. During Oman’s National Day celebration in Makati City, Ambassador H.E. Nasser Said Abdullah Al Manwari confirmed that Filipinos visiting Oman for around two weeks will no longer need a visa, making Oman the first Middle Eastern country to waive visa requirements specifically for Filipino travelers. The envoy said the policy aims to significantly boost tourism, noting that Filipino arrivals are expected to rise sharply once the exemption takes effect. Manwari added that Oman is preparing for increased demand by exploring additional direct flights, including a planned Manila–Cebu–Muscat route, aside from existing Manila–Muscat services. He encouraged Filipinos to visit Oman’s diverse landscapes—mountains, coastlines, and deserts—highlighting the country’s growing tourism appeal. The visa-free initiative follows ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Philippines and Oman, including recent agreements covering travel, health, and broader economic ties. #Oman #Philippines #VisaFreeTravel #FilipinoTourists #OmanEmbassy #MiddleEastTravel
